Had a bit of sun today and a wind from the South. Today I went out to kayak sail after watching the wind surfers on Skaha Lake, I just had to spend some fun on the lake. Lake temp is still about 15c hasn't changed in the past couple days. Air temp outside was 18c and mostly sunny all day until about 3:00pm then overcast.

Paddle across the lake then sailed to BanburryGreen then a paddle across the lake and back home plus the evening paddle into the sunset. The air temp was 35c and the water temp was 22c on Skaha Lake today. Nice to see water temp coming up as we finally begin to have summer.

Twelve days after our order went thru at Kayaking.Org's Kayaking Store our new Kayak Sails arrived. We were so excited to try them out..
Skaha was windy all day today while I was working. After picking up our package we ran outside and hooked them up then headed out for a paddle into the wind, to the West side of the lake. Then we road the wind back. Had to do this a few times just to get the feel of it. ;-) Here are some shots from this evening.
This does not mean we are through with paddling we are just going to have even more fun paddling and just in time for our up coming trip to Rattlesnake Island these sails may just come in handy if we have a tailwind on our trip so we can play.
