Kayaking Wood Lake - DemoDay - KayakLog: May 10, 2014

Today KAYAKokanagan with our Shearwater Webbed Paddles headed off to check out the kayaks at the 2014 Wood Lake Demo Days by Innerspace Watersports Kelowna Vernon BC

Here are a few shots of us on Wood Lake in Oyama. Kathy tried out the Necky Looksha 17foot and GuyThaLizard tried out their Point 65n from Sweden, it is an interesting take apart kayak that breaks down into 3 pieces.

We were sporting our own favorite paddles from www.WebbedPaddles.com. We had a few looks and a few questions when we brought out our own paddles to test the kayaks out.

One of the ladies test paddling a Necky wanted to take my webbed paddle out for a test paddle, of course I just had to let her give it a try. She loved it and needed to know where she could get herself one.

Afterwards we took some shots of the shoreline at Wood Lake then on the way back to Penticton we had to stop by one of our favorite restaurants Kekuli Cafe where we enjoyed a Bannock Burger.  Hope you enjoy the pics!
