[[posterous-content:pid___0]]The plan was to kayak on Kalamalka Lake but with tourist season here and the fact that it was a hot day the beach access was unbelievable. We are unfamiliar with the area and the only couple spots to put-in that I was aware of were unsatisfactory for launching for an overnight kayak trip. We, after much searching, decided to head to Oyama Lake (High above Oyama BC Canada on the East side) There was perfect spot to set up the tent at a BCFS camp and paddled the weekend away. Here are some shots.
Oyama Lake has 27 islands on it and it is quite popular for fishing.
