Green Lake is an interesting little saltwater lake. Many turtles swimming in the lake and tanning on the rocks along the edges. Didn't see any fish in the water, don't believe there are any in this lake.
We paddled the shoreline all around the edge stopping for lunch on the other side. The white muddy shore gives the impression of a sandy beach. Swimming in the lake was refreshing but I could taste the salt as it splashed on my lips, a taste that took a long time to get rid of. The water was clean and clear.
