Clearing up today!
The weather hasn't been the best for the past week or so but I see some sunshine and blue skies this morning. Hopefully it will stay for a while.Here is a shot from the old Kettle Valley Railway that was in Penticton no tracks since sometime in the 80's. Now it's a scenic walk/bike path through town.
Years ago when the KVR first removed the tracks I drove my pickup straight through to Kelowna on the rail line. Through the tunnels and over the trestles. An awesome experience! Can't do that now as they have placed gates and large stones & boulders at the trail / road crossings!
I remember the large tunnel was almost too dark for my headlights to handle.
