Two people are fortunate to be alive after a speed boat sideswiped them near Whiskey Cove in Carr’s Landing Saturday night.
RCMP received a report of a marine collision at 5:15 p.m. in the cove on Okanagan Lake.Witnesses say a speed boat had just dropped of a water skier and turned left when it struck the side of the kayak.“I remember screaming. Water was coming at me and the underside of the boat was coming directly at me.
