Helped my friend Robin Dunham with building a "Trip-Top" for his kayak. The idea was to build something that would cut down on water from waves from entering the kayak. Took a little figuring out how to do it and it's a good thing I know a little about sewing (inherited from my dad I guess). Anyhow I hope this will help you come up with something that will allow you to paddle further into the off season.
